We welcome referrals from correctional and reentry professionals, veteran-serving organizations, aging-service providers, case managers, social workers, healthcare organizations, and other community partners. Referral partners may request an application on behalf of a prospective resident.

Are bedrooms private or shared?
Steadwell Living offers both private and shared bedrooms, depending on the housing location and availability. Room arrangements vary by residence, and applicants may inquire about available options during the application process.
What is included in the housing arrangement?
Housing includes furnishings, utilities, internet access, shared amenities, and residential house management. Designated exterior and common areas may have security cameras. Specific features are confirmed for each residence.
How much does housing cost?
Rates and payment terms are provided during the application process and may vary by residence and room arrangement. Contact us for current pricing.
What sources of income or financial assistance are accepted?
Steadwell Living accepts housing payments funded through employment, Social Security, SSI, SSDI, VA benefits, retirement income, and rental assistance programs.
Where is housing available?
We accept inquiries from across Indiana. Openings and locations vary, and submitting an inquiry does not reserve a room or guarantee placement.
Can a case manager or referral partner request an application?
Yes. Select “On behalf of someone else” in the application request form. We welcome inquiries from community organizations, veteran-serving agencies, and correctional and reentry professionals.
How do I request an application?
Complete the Request an Application form. We review your inquiry, follow up about next steps, and provide the appropriate application. The inquiry form itself is not a housing application.
Is Steadwell Living a medical care or treatment provider?
No. Steadwell Living provides residential housing, not medical care, personal care, counseling, or correctional supervision. Any outside services are arranged separately.
